One of the many derivations of our TidyTent is the ever popular Bike Cave. Many, many bicycle enthusiasts have contacted us and asked whether the TidyTent is suitable to house bikes … well the short answer is … its perfect! A major design criteria was that the TidyTent was required to be large enough to hold a minimum of two adult-sized bicycles, so, we built the Bike Cave with this in mind.

We know that people love their bikes or bicycles and we also acknowledge that in most cases, they can be very expensive and much loved. That’s why invariably they are locked away safely in the shed or garage … or even stored in the hallway or porch. The problem is that once stored away in the garage or shed – they can easily become forgotten about or other items are piled in front of them and they rapidly becomes inaccessible. Storing them in the hallway or porch has the advantage of your bike or bicycle being readily available - sure, however, just how long do you really think the wife or girlfriend will put up with it? I’d say not too long before divorce is looming!

The Bike Cave, like the TidyTent, is manufactured from a very clever Polyester and Polyurethane mix – a quality fabric that is tough and durable, hardwearing and easy to clean. The special Polyester based fabric combined with the flexible fibre-glass rod chassis, have been specifically chosen to provide a lightweight storage solution that can either a permanent or temporary fixture – its completely up to you. It can be free standing or neatly integrated into your garden housed against an existing wall or fence. Designed to be quick and easy to install, the Bike Cave has a detachable zipped front panel providing the owner with the choice of having the front open or closed – very useful in the summer months when rainfall is less prevalent and access is required frequently. Suitable for virtually any climate, the distinctive arched profile allows rain and snow simply to run off, keeping the Bike Cave's contents safe and dry.

Our Bike Cave provides an impressive internal storage capacity (large enough for two adult bicycles) and packs away to a small, compact bundle requiring minimum storage space. Dimensions of our current model are 200 cms wide, 167 cms high and 80 cms deep when erected and 54 cms x 18 cms x 14 cms when packed away.

Security

Not only does the Bike Cave provide a neat, dedicated and dry place for you to store your bike - combined with our unique safety bracket, the Anka Point, the Bike Cave can be as secure as you like. The Bike Cave has a small access panel in the rear, designed specifically with the Anka Point in mind. The Anka Point with its clever, one-way security screws provides an ‘anchor point’ to which you can safely chain your valued bike or bicycle. A safe and secure, dry and dedicated place for your bike or bicycle – the Bike Cave is just what you need!
